Our farm : how it started

  Immortelle Helichrysum

Our little story starts during the war in 1940, my father, Xavier fighter name "stamatin" as he was member of the French Corsican resistance responding to the famous Jean Moulin, and was as such walking long distance in the Corsican maquis to fight the occupation.

Stamatin was our father resistance name during ww2 . He responded to Jean Moulin as head of resistance in Corsica

Stamatin used, immortelle  daily, to protect his feet against blisters inserting in his boots "la murza" the plant known today as Helichrysum Italicum. After the war he thought that he could do something for others with the properties of this magical plant that helped him so much.  The rest is history...

That's how it all started...

With Julie, my wife, Cornish born in Porthleven Cornwall the Brtish Britany, we took over our Corsican farm in 2006, taking advantage of the second & thrird generationa of Corsican families that used to collect in the wild for my father. We mordernised and restructurated the whole process to achieve what we do yearly and will achieve in 2024 .
